The EHRI public data release classifies employees by occupational series, not by a "law enforcement officer" flag. Whether OPM maintains such a flag internally is not reflected in this dataset. Series codes here reflect occupational classification only, not law enforcement retirement (6c) eligibility, which is determined position-by-position. Series 1801 covers very different roles at different agencies; see series definition above.
